EDGE Announces Sara Marshall Elected to Board of Directors; Two New EDGE Staff Members

INDIANAPOLIS – EDGE is proud to announce that Sara Marshall, Senior Director of Talent at The Mind Trust, as the newest member of its Board of Directors; and two additional staff members, Juanita Molano Parra and Kristen Campbell, have recently been hired on the EDGE team.

“Sara is the perfect addition to the EDGE Board.  She brings years of experience in developing and investing in people and has a passion for serving others, especially those in under-represented groups,” says EDGE CEO Todd Richardson.

Sara currently serves as the Senior Director for The Mind Trust, leading the organization’s talent initiatives and strategies focused on recruiting, rewarding, developing and retaining high-quality diverse educators in Indianapolis. Sara is committed to fostering community, leading with an equity-mindset, and removing barriers particularly for educators of color.

Prior to joining The Mind Trust, Sara spent time as a high school mathematics teacher and the Site Director for a non-profit organization. She is a member of the Indiana Latino Institute’s Leadership Circle and is currently a KIPP Leadership Development Fellow. She serves on the board of Teachers Treasures and The Aspire Higher Foundation and is an active alumnus at her alma mater, Butler University.

“I am excited to join the EDGE Board and serve the growing EDGE community,” says Sara.  “Walking alongside and serving young adults on their development journeys is something I am passionate about.  I see firsthand as a mother, teacher, executive, and community leader, the impact mentoring can have on the lives of others and am excited about all that EDGE is doing in this space.”

Juanita Molano Parra and Kristen Campbell have also recently joined the EDGE staff. Juanita joined EDGE to serve as Curriculum Advisor. Juanita is an Engineer and MBA-turned-Life and Leadership Coach who brings a decade of experience working in both Colombia and in the US. For the last three years she’s been coaching change makers, and leading conversations about diversity, equity and inclusion within organizations. Kristen Campbell has joined EDGE Mentoring as their new Director, EDGE|Groups. Kristen brings a decade of marketing, wellness coaching and relationship management experience to the EDGE team. Kristen is passionate about EDGE’s mission of whole person development and will be responsible for the evolution and growth of EDGE|Groups.
