EDGE|WORK ADVISORS
Role Overview
EDGE|Work Advisors play a meaningful role in developing the next generation of leaders in our communities.
Advisors walk alongside a group of 5-7 emerging leaders during the year-long EDGE|Work program. As part of an EDGE|Work Group, advisors facilitate conversations, pose challenging questions, act as a mentor and coach, and help each individual grow as a whole-person as they work through the 12-month curriculum.

Advisors Commit to:

Virtually attend cohort kick-off and graduation

Meet with group twice per month

Schedule group meetings for the same day & time bi-weekly

Attend monthly advisor check-in call
-
Spend time preparing for each group meeting (approx. 30 minutes)

Use Slack to communicate to group participants and the EDGE Team

Have two 1:1 calls with each emerging leader during the length of the program

Create a safe space for emerging leaders where confidentiality is honored

Facilitate discussions, ask questions instead of providing answers

Attend the quarterly virtual speaker series
Qualifications + Compensation
Successful candidates are:

Certified Coaching Professionals or experienced in the areas of coaching, teaching, mentoring, or people development

Invested in developing others as a whole-person (all aspects of life)

Confident they don’t have all the answers but willing to challenge, ask tough questions, and guide conversation

Transparent, vulnerable, honest, and caring
-
Effective at building and leading teams
-
Organized and highly responsive with strong communication skills
Compensation is highly competitive and paid monthly on a contract basis per 12-month cohort engagement.
