EDGE is proud to introduce EDGE Connect – the new online member community for EDGE Groups. We have been hard at work over the last eight months building and trialing our new platform, and we are excited to announce that it has officially been rolled out to more than 600 of our active members. New applicants have been registering through the EDGE Connect platform since April 2019.
The investment in this online community stems from the strategic plan EDGE completed last fall, determining a need for digital infrastructure to serve the needs of our growing membership base. EDGE members are asking for content, connections, and centralized information. EDGE Connect is a place where we can provide our members with recommended content for discussion, as well as forums for mentees, mentors, and the entire community to connect with each other.
Internally, a key benefit of the platform will be a faster and better personalized match process for mentors and mentees. Coordinating all applications with tailored questions through our platform allows us to use specific match criteria to aid in forming groups in a more standardized and intelligent way. EDGE Connect will be a valuable addition to the human touch that makes the process of forming EDGE Groups so unique.
Other highlights of the platform include information on upcoming events, chat groups, detailed profiles, file sharing and group milestones, support and resources, and the ability to communicate with the EDGE team.
This platform marks a pivotal and exciting time for EDGE to better serve our existing membership base and to enhance the experience for new applicants.
