The Mentee Experience

EDGE mentees are young adults (typically between 22-34 years old) who are passionate about pursuing whole person development through intentional relationships. Our mentees come from a wide variety of backgrounds, career industries, and walks of life, but they all share a passion for growing in community.

Time Commitment

As a mentee, you’re making an investment in your growth—and that can only happen if you invest in your group. We expect mentees to commit to 2-4 hours per month for at least one year, attend 80 percent of scheduled calls, and complete occasional prep work.

EDGE Events

Mentees attend our year-round events to hear from local leaders, connect with fellow mentees and mentors, and engage with our community. We also encourage mentees to attend EDGE|X, our annual leadership conference, with their EDGE groups.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a crucial component of the EDGE experience. We ask that mentees are respectful of the sensitive nature of the experiences and stories that may be shared within your group.

Group Engagement

Whether it’s dinner with your EDGE group or coffee with your mentor before work, the development of these relationships outside of your scheduled calls is what shapes your experience.
