This year, we saw 2,600 leaders come together for a day of leadership development at our keystone event, hundreds of women inspired by strong female leaders at our Women’s Events, our mentors and mentees gathered together in community at EDGE socials, and many new relationships forged from partnering with other Indiana organizations.
EDGE|X 2018
Our annual leadership conference sold out for its third year in a row. Seven powerhouse speakers joined us in Indianapolis to speak on the topic of people-centered leadership, including Shauna Niequist, David Novak and Tony Dungy.

We partnered with Harrison Center to bring bestselling author, Enneagram teacher and nationally recognized speaker Ian Cron to Indianapolis to lead an inspirational two-day workshop.
Trinity Forum and EDGE hosted Michael Wear, author of Reclaiming Hope and former Obama White House staffer, for a conversation on building bridges across the lines that divide in politics, business and communities.
Bestselling author Annie Downs joined us for a special Women’s Event recognizing the inspiring work that women are doing right here in our community, including Stripped Free ministries and He Knows Your Name.
A group of 50 women heard from Karen and Mina – the stars of HGTV’s Good Bones – as they shared lessons learned from being two strong women in a male-dominated industry.
EDGE Day of Service
A group of EDGE mentors and mentees joined us for our first ever Day of Service with Shepherd Community Center this summer!
EDGE mentors and mentees spent a summer evening at Gallery Pastry Shop for our summer social, where Shepherd Community Center and Thrivent provided an on-site service opportunity.
Nearly 200 guests joined us at our Ambassador Reception the evening before EDGE|X, including corporate partners, friends, and EDGE|X 2018 speakers Tony Dungy, Jessica Nam Kim and David Novak.
Our mentors and mentees celebrated the end of another great year together with food, drinks and ping pong at Smash Social, a coffee shop and ping pong bar in downtown Indianapolis.
